Alisa Bordo is a feltmaker and fiber artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, now based in Mannheim, Germany. Her work blends the softness of wool with poetic design, often inspired by nature, emotion, and subtle textures. With over a decade of experience, Alisa creates wearable art — from delicate stoles to sculptural garments — that balances technical precision with artistic expression.

As an instructor, Alisa brings a calm, thoughtful approach to felting, encouraging students to explore their own creative rhythm while learning professional techniques. Her signature project, the Rose Garden stole, reflects her ability to translate natural forms into elegant, tactile pieces through the medium of wet felting.

Through her courses at Felting Academy, Alisa shares not only her skills but also her artistic voice — rooted in Ukrainian textile traditions and enriched by her international journey.
