ABOUT FELTING ACADEMY
Felting Academy is an online school devoted to intelligent felt — where technique, form, and artistic vision come together.
Created by Olga Kazanskaya, the academy was built as a thoughtful space for people who want more than decorative effects. Here, felt is approached as a living material with structure, logic, and expressive potential. We teach not only how to make beautiful things, but how to understand the language of felt more deeply.
Our courses bring together strong technique, refined design, and carefully chosen instructors. From wearable pieces to sculptural objects, each class is meant to help students grow in skill, confidence, and artistic individuality.
OUR APPROACH
For us, felt is more than surface. It is a language of shrinkage, layout, resistance, material behavior, and form. To work well with felt is to think with it — to understand how structure becomes design, and how technique becomes expression.
