About Svetlana Lilley

Svetlana Lilley is a Ukrainian fiber artist, now based in Neath, South Wales, where she runs the Wool & Silk Art Studio. She studied Fine Arts and Textile Design at NPTC Group of Colleges (Wales)  and has since developed a distinctive style that blends traditional felting with painterly techniques.

Specializing in wet felting and wool painting, Svetlana creates luminous, textured artworks that echo the softness of watercolor. Through her classes and workshops, she shares not only her technical expertise but also her passion for helping others unlock their creativity.

Her mission is to make fiber art accessible and inspiring—guiding beginners and enthusiasts alike to discover the calming, tactile joy of painting with wool.
